The bar is not only the bar, but also the home of many ethnic minority groups people, since they are the most frequent customers of the place. If you are interested in the minorities’ culture, visiting H’Mong sister Bar and Game is a good chance to make friend and gain local experience.

H’Mong sister Bar and Game has a unique wooden design and well-decorated with hand-made handcrafts. The friendly atmosphere is soaked in good music of all styles, including traditional music performed by tribal men. The bar also provides party-holding services such as 80′s, 90′s, disco or even birthday party, depending on customers’ request.

The food served in the bar is good, although the price is a little bit higher than average, with some specialties such as Hot pot and other Vietnamese authentic food. The staff can speak English quite well, while the manager is fluent in both English and French.

The restaurant serves a wide range of unique local dishes, however, hot pot and grilled meat with honey are among the most favorite. In rush hour, the service may be a little bit slow, but the staff members are friendly and very supportive. Description
Belonging to luxurious four-star Victoria Sapa Resort and Spa, Tavan Restaurant is on the hill above Sapa Town, offering the great natural views, especially if you choose to have meals at the sun terrace. The price here is higher than average, but it is worth the money value for the superb food quality and services.

The restaurant’s menu is not very extensive with only a few pages of both Vietnamese and western cuisines with some set meals (may be up to seven-course menu). Dishes made from local mushroom are Tavan Restaurant’s specialties. The Parisian chef has been working here for years, creating the best European classics in town such as rack of lamb, Raclette or Risotto. The food price ranges from USD4 (for pasta) to nearly USD30, while wine is pretty expensive as the cheapest bottle starts from USD38. There are a lot of restaurants offering a lower price for backpack tourists; however, Tavan Restaurant will definitely satisfy ones who love outstanding food while being treated like a king.

Although it is not located in main streets of the town,Rose Garden Restaurant has become more and more familiar with numerous locals and tourists. As the owner of the restaurant used to be the former kitchen staff in five-star Victoria Sapa Hotel, the cuisines here, both Vietnamese and western, are heavenly delicious, especially homemade pasta, sorbets, ice-cream and bakery. Customers are also recommended to try beef and lemon, fresh salmon and hot pot; and they can even catch the view of the kitchen with busy chefs cooking with the food is still on the process. The price is pretty reasonably, only from USD4-USD10 per dish.

Rose Garden is designed in modernly nostalgic style with dark pink walls, a rose vase on each table and wide glass windows. The cozy restaurant is a little off the main road so it is kept away from noise and vehicles emission. All of the staff members are well trained in both cooking and serving, making the customers feel like home when enjoying meals here.

Direction
From Binh Lu, keep going until you see Huoi Ke. Then, turn left at this intersrction to Chu Va. The restaurant is on the Phan Si Pang street which is opposite to Chu Va.

As you take a walk around Sa Pa, you will probably realize what a patisserie town it is. Along Cau May and Fansipan street there are numerous bakeries of mouth-watering pastry. French Bakery at the end of Cau May street is a good one to try. The cheese cake is actually made into cake-like texture but brownie with almond pieces is highly recommended. Otherwise, either chocolate tart or tiramisu can go well with a glass of black Vietnamese coffee. A short break and you will have enough energy to trek a few more villages!

Direction:
Exit Sa Pa market into Cau May street and turn right. Walk to the end of the hill and the Bakery is on your right.
